Soccer Fun Day

Last Friday our school went to the Memorial Park to
play Soccer. All of the schools from our district were
there except for Ashbrook. It felt like I was in a sauna
because it was humid!

I trumped paricipaing and contribuing. I paricipated

Haize Collier Ashani Mahaki in all of my games because I was really looking for-
ward to that day. We had six games I think we lost two

and we won the rest. I got about four goals and I was
even happy that I got a goal. And I stayed on the ield
for most of my matches.

I trumped relaing to others. I was relaing to some of
the other teams cause I wanted to have a fun day not
a compeiive day. And I communicated with our team
to igure out some plans and to know when to pass it

or not. And when our team communicated we won
most of our games.

I trumped thinking. I was thinking about a lot of
things. First I was thinking if I should boot it down the
“Let’s Go OPO, Let’s Go.” ield or just pass it to someone. But my brain told me
to hoof it down the ield to gain yards. Boom! Boom! I
always hoofed the ball down the ield with my big

foot. Also some of our games were tedious so Hamue-
ra and I thought we should make it a bit comical.

I was lethargic ater that hard day of Soccer, having
four games in a row. Sprining, kicking and laughing.
So I went home and had a nice hot bath.
